The Curried Lentil Soup posted in my recipes is one great idea. Be sure to add the instructions on a decorative tag and you are good to go!
Here is another idea…Chai Tea! Simply put these ingredients in a small jar:
3 Tbsp loose black tea
2 whole star anise
10 cardamon pods
8 whole cloves
3 black peppercorns
1/8 tsp nutmeg
Attach with a ribbon and cinnamon stick.
Pour 2 cups of water in a saucepan, add chai mix. Boil for 15 minutes, strain into a mug, add ½ - 1 cup of milk, heat and serve. Makes 2 servings.
You could give this gift with a nice mug and tea strainer (I think that is what they are called:))
Here is another great idea…Fiesta Dip Mix!
In a small jar add:
1 ½ tsp dried parsley
1 ½ tsp dried minced onion
¾ tsp dried chives
1 ½ tsp chili powder
¾ tsp ground cumin
Combine above with 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt and serve with veggies!
